Saints International Roundup: November 13

Alderweireld helped Belgium to a friendly win

Saints defender, Toby Alderweireld, played the whole game as Belgium triumphed over Iceland in Brussels, 3-1. Nicolas Lombaert's header gave the host the lead but Iceland managed to equalize before halftime. Two goals from Divock Origi and Romelu Lukaku sealed the win for Belgium.

Saints pair in action as England held by Canada

Matt Targett and Harrison Reed played 45 minutes each in England U-20's draw against Canada U-20. Targett started the game from kickoff before being subbed off at halftime by fellow Saints, Reed. Goals from Chuba Akpom and Baily Cargill twice gave England the lead, but the young Three Lions ultimately had to settle for a draw.

Davis out with hamstring injury

Northern Ireland's skipper, Steven Davis, has been ruled out of international duty due to a minor hamstring complaint. The midfielder joined with the rest of NI's squad, but after further examination he has returned to Staplewood.
