A trio of Saints youngsters was in action last night for England's U-20 and U-18. Can the young Saints follow the footsteps of their senior counterparts?

U-20s defeated Portugal on penalties

England U-20s prevailed over Portugal U-20s on penalties, something that the senior team had failed to do on two separate occasions. Harrison Reed and Matt Targett started the game and played the whole match. Targett was one of the stars of the night as he opened the scoring in the 29th minute and dispatched his penalty successfully in the penalty shootouts.

U-18s came from behind to rout Poland

England U-18s also had a successful outing as they defeated host Poland U-18s, 4-1. The U-18s fell behind in the 10th minute, but goals from Dominic Solanke, Ryand Ledson, and a brace from Sheji Oyo ensured England came home from Poland with two wins in there doubleheader against the host. Josh Sims was introduced as a substitute in the 83rd minute with England already having an unassailable lead at 4-1.
