Our boys wrapped up the last international break of the year with a pair of wins in AFCON 2015 qualifiers.

Emmanuel Mayuka helped Zambia defeat Cape Verde

Zambia edged Cape Verde by a goal to nil, in a contest that has no effect on both sides standings in the group. Prior to the game, Zambia had secured second place and has no chance of catching group winner, Cape Verde. Southampton's Emmanuel Mayuka came close on several times to open the scoring, with Ronald Kampamba settling the score a quarter of an hour before the final whistle.

Senegal beat Botswana, Mané introduced as a sub

Senegal, who also had secured their place in next year's Africa Cup of Nations, defeated Botswana 3-0 in their final group game. Sadio Mané was introduced in the second half with his team already 3-0 up thanks to goals from Kara Mbodj, Papiss Cissé, and Moussa Sow. Senegal advances from the group in second place, behind group winners, Tunisia, who beat Egypt in their final group encounter.
