POLL: Rickie Lambert: would you take him back?

Recently, rumours have been flying around about the possible return of Saints hero Rickie Lambert.

Joining Southampton in 2009, Lambert was instrumental in the rise of The Saints, which culminated in back-to-back promotions from League One all the way up to the Premier League.

According to to the Sunday Express, Rickie Lambert could be heading back to St. Mary’s in January on loan. To me, it seems unlikely.

Though he did start and score in Liverpool's hilarious defeat to Crystal Palace earlier today, would this move be a step back for Saints considering his lack of action for Liverpool?
