ICYMI: Wanyama's 40-yard screamer v Hull City

Southampton's brilliant start to the season continued as The Saints marched on to The KC Stadium to take on host Hull City. The Saints did the double over Hull last season, including a narrow 1-0 win last February at the same ground.

After just three minutes, this happened:

Hull's third-choice keeper, Eldin Jakupović, did the best Vito Mannone impression from two weeks back with an awful clearance which fell to Victor Wanyama. The Kenyan midfielder, not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, graciously accepted the host's hospitality and scored from 40-yards out. That was his third goal of the season.

That goal was enough to give Southampton their third-straight Premier League win as they remained in second place and keep up the pressure on league leaders Chelsea, which they trailed by four points. The Saints will next welcome Premier League new boys, Leicester City on Saturday.
