Eight goal thriller for The Cherries

Bournemouth continues to roll in The Championship with a 5-3 win over Cardiff City, which took them to the top of the table. Artur Boruc had to pick up the ball from his net on three separate occasions but goals from Matt Ritchie, Harry After, Marc Pugh, Yann Kemorgant, and Callum Wilson was enough for the host, who is unbeaten in their last 12 games.

Southampton duo starred in Swindon's win

Swindon Town won their fifth straight game, as they defeated host Notts County 3-0. Jack Stephens and Jordan Turnbull helped their team to a clean sheet as they hold on to second place in League One. Andy Williams bagged a brace and Massimo Luongo add another as Swindon won comfortably.

Youngster Britt helped Maidenhead United progress in The FA Trophy

Will Britt, who is currently on loan at maidenhead United, helped his side defeat Poole Town 2-1. The goalkeeper put on an impressive performance, bouncing back from a red card last weekend.

Good week for Inter Milan

Pablo Osvaldo played the whole 90 minutes in the goalless draw against Qarabag as Inter sealed their place in The Europa League knockout stage (where they will meet Celtic). He was then introduced in the last nine minutes as Inter defeated Chievo Verona to give Roberto Mancini his first win in his second spell in charge of Inter.

And the rest

Jake Sinclair did not see a single minute of action as Hibernian defeated Alloa Athletic 2-0 in The Scottish Championship.

Jos Hooiveld was an unused substitute as Norwich City routed Huddersfield Town 5-0 in The Championship.

Gaston Ramirez returned from suspension and came on for the last quarter of an hour as Hull City lost to Chelsea 2-0. The Tigers remained in the drop zone after 16 games.
