Yesterday capped a successful day for Saints players on international duty with James Ward-Prowse scoring a late penalty to secure a 3-1 win for England U21's. The captain finished well from the spot and played the full match in the European Championships qualifier alongside Matt Targett who also completed the full 90 minutes.

Shane Long was also successful on international duty with the forward making his return from injury off the bench. The forward picked up an ankle injury last month on international duty against Poland. Long came on as a 55th minute substitute to help the Republic of Ireland seal their qualification for the Euros next summer in France.
