Southampton - Tottenham Hotspur is always a fascinating, yet dreaded fixture for Saints fans across the globe.
Since clinching promotion back to the Premier League in 2012, Southampton have not taken all three points in any of the six games between the two sides.
But, there is more to this fixture with former Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino making a return to St. Mary's, while the summer saw former Saints loan star Toby Alderweireld also make the move to White Hart Lane. In fact, Spurs have also poached Southampton's head scout and even their stadium announcer in less than a year.
Saints striker Graziano Pelle could return to the starting XI as his knee injury appears to have healed somewhat. However, 'keeper Maarten Stekelenburg will be out of action for the second game in a row after sustaining a toe injury. Young Southampton goalie Paulo Gazzaniga is expected to guard the home side's net.
Spurs are expected to be missing Mousa Dembele, Clinton Njie, Ryan Mason and Alex Pritchard through injury.
Southampton have not mustered a win in five games in all competitions so Ronald Koeman's men will be eager to regain some positive momentum ahead of the festive football calendar.
