Prediction League: Final trip to Upton Park

Lose, Lose, Draw with Villa. Lose, Lose, stuff Arsenal four nil. Its been a weird season.

So today is the final saints trip to the Boleyn ground before the hammers move into the plush tax payer subsidised olympic stadium. Whilst many are mourning the loss of another classic stadium in the premier league I will not be one of them.

Upton Park is a dump and the new Olympic venue is a thing of beauty. It's a venue far too nice for West Ham Football Club.

After an incredible start to the season, on the back of some crazy away days, the hammers are experiencing a downturn in form. Much like the saints last season, winter has taken its toll on the squad, strikers are struggling to find the back of the net and talk of a champions league place has hushed considerably.

Saints went into Christmas with similar worries, the form guide judged them to be the worst team in the league. It will be interesting to see if the confidence boosting win on boxing day was the catalyst our talented squad needed to find its feet again.

To the predictions:

Unsurprisingly no one predicted the correct score on boxing day. In fact no one thought we would pick up a point, let alone three, so the table remains the same.

WRITER POINTS
Jake 10
Dan 9
Connor 7
Lawro 7
Merse 7
George 6
Will 5
Tommy 0

Merse: 2-1
"It should be an entertaining game between two decent sides, but I think the Hammers will just have too much for the Saints."

Lawro: 0-2
"West Ham have drawn their last five and are without some key players... I can see the Saints rolling them over."

Jake: 1-1
I'm still a little pessimistic for whatever reason so I'll go for 1-1.

George: 0-2
"Hammers have a few injuries, so hopefully we can hit them on the break and make sure the Arsenal win isn't just a one-off but a real boost into 2016."

Tommy: 1-1
"17 nil to the saints... No but really, I have no clue which team will show up, so I'll go for a 1-1 draw."

Will: 1-2
"No Payet, no win. "

Connor: 0-2
"We'll beat them 2-0."
