It's not been the best of weeks for Southampton.
On Wednesday night, Ronald Koeman's men were knocked out of the Capital One Cup at the quarter final stage following their 1-6 home demolition at the hands of Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.
Saturday's game against Aston Villa was seen by some Saints fans as an opportunity to get back on to a winning run after suffering three defeats in a row in all competitions.
That didn't go exactly according to plan. After dominating the majority of the first half with many great chances missed, Remi Garde's Villa took the lead on the stroke of half time through defender Joleon Lescott to try and win his side's second game of the season.
It looked to be another disastrous day for the Saints. However, former Barcelona and Chelsea man Oriol Romeu poked the ball home with 20 minutes left to make it 1-1 for his new team.
