In the past few days, Southampton has been heavily linked with Serbian midfielder, Filip Djuričić, but despite positive indications all around, a deal has yet to be struck.
However, according to The Telegraph, that may soon change, as a loan deal for the 23-year old has been 'agreed in principle' with Mainz 05, where he is currently out on loan from parent club, Benfica.
Djuričić, has only made 11 appearances for Mainz 05 this season, and has not completed a full match since joining the German outfit last summer. He has not scored a goal nor registered an assist in Germany.
The same source also mentioned that The Saints has made a £5m bid for Tonny Vilhena. The Feyenoord midfielder previously worked with Ronald Koeman, and at the moment the likelihood of both sides coming to an agreement is "50-50".
Vilhena appeared in 17 games for Feyenoord this season, but has no goal nor assist to his name either.
