Ramirez; Tigers continue to climb

Hull City secured their first back-to-back wins this season as they defeated 10-man QPR 2-1. Gaston Ramirez came on in the 53rd minute and helped his side to all three points thanks to Dame N'doye's late header, as they moved up to 15th.

Cherries missed out on top spot

Bournemouth dropped out of the automatic promotion spot as they succumbed to a 3-1 defeat against Brentford at Griffin Park. Artur Boruc had to pick the ball from his net on three occasions as Jonathan Douglas, Alex Pritchard, and Chris Long scored for The Bees.

Stalemate at The Den

Championship strugglers Millwall and Fulham played out a 0-0 draw at The Den as the former remained in the relegation zone while the latter's winless streak reached five games. Jos Hooiveld played the entire game as they were fortunate to see Hugo Rodallega's goal ruled out for offside.

Swindon lost to the Red Devils

Crawley Town boost their hope of League One safety with a 2-1 win against Swindon Town. Crawley took the lead in the fifth minute before Saints' own Jack Stephens provided an assist for Andy Williams to equalize. But Gavin Tomlin's goal two minutes before the full-time whistle snatched the win. Fellow loanee, Jordan Turnbull, played the whole game and picked up a yellow card.

Did not play: Will Britt (Maidenhead United) and Pablo Osvaldo (Boca Juniors).
