Southampton are reportedly interested in young Sheffield United striker Che Adams.
According to British rag The Daily Mirror, Saints are joined by South Coast rivals Bournemouth and Manchester City to sign the forward.
Saints boss Ronald Koeman has allegedly been interested in the 19-year-old striker ever since the Blades knocked his side out of the League Cup quarter finals back in 2014. That was Adams' debut for the League One club now managed by former Southampton manager Nigel Adkins.
Adams has scored six goals for the Blades in fifteen league appearances so far this season.
The fee it would take for Adams to move down south is reported to be £1.75million, but it remains to be seen if this is simply the standard fare of baseless paper talk.
