Claude Puel and his Southampton finish off their double header of Merseyside home fixtures against the returning Ronald Koeman's Everton side, following a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Liverpool last week.

Koeman's departure wasn't exactly welcomed by Saints fans, but he has no concerns about catching some flak from the Southampton faithful on Sunday, saying: "Why should I lose sleep over what will happen on Sunday? No, I am concentrated on my job. If they whistle, they whistle and I can't change that."

Puel stated he is confident of the return of captain Jose Fonte, who had picked up a minor foot injury. However, it looks like both Matt Targett and Dusan Tadic will remain sidelined through a hamstring problem and a broken nose, respectively.

Everton have no major injury concerns and welcome back stalwart midfielder Gareth Barry, who served a one-game ban last week. However, the Toffees have only won once in the last seven league games so Koeman could well change things up on his return to St. Mary's.

Stats Zone:

Everton have only won away at Southampton once in their last seven attempts, drawing two and losing four. But, that sole win came last season in a 3-0 hammering at St. Mary's as Southampton got their campaign off to a shaky start.

The Toffees have scored three own goals in their last three away games at Southampton.

Saints have only won one of of their last Premier League games - drawing three and losing two. Though, they have only lost once in their last 11 home fixtures.

Against Liverpool last week, Saints failed to register a sole shot on target in a Premier League game for the first time since 2004.

Southampton have only allowed 30 shots on target so far this season. This record is only bettered by Chelsea, who have conceded just 26.
