It's not a local derby. Nope. Nah.

Saints are unbeaten in two, following a week of mixed success which saw Claude Puel's side comfortably beat Middlesbrough 1-0 on the weekend before drawing away at Stoke City on Wednesday evening.

Southampton will be missing Oriol Romeu - the first game he has missed all season - on Sunday as he serves a suspension. As a result, Harrison Reed, who signed a new contract with Saints on Thursday, makes a rare start.

Cedric has also returned to the Saints fold, having sat two games out with illness.

Bournemouth welcome back striker Callum Wilson after he has suffered a head injury against Leicester in midweek. Meanwhile, Ryan Fraser is likely to not feature, having picked up an ankle injury.

Stats Zone:

Bournemouth's 2-0 win in March was their first over Southampton in the league in seven attempts since 1958.

Southampton have earned just one win in their last eight top-flight away matches (D3, L4).

Claude Puel's side have 21 points from 16 games, which is exactly the same total as they had at this stage last season.

Bournemouth have won five of their last seven home games in the league (D1, L1).

The Cherries have hit the woodwork 10 times this season - more than any other Premier League team.

Saints have kept four clean sheets in their last five league matches, while they have managed seven in total this season - only Chelsea (nine) have kept more in the top flight.

Jack Wilshere has already played more minutes in the Premier League this season (932) than in the previous two campaigns combined (873).
