Tottenham Hotspur, managed by former Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino, may have dropped off the title pace of late, but they remain a tricky side.

Southampton have only been beaten by one team at St. Mary's in 2016 thus far—Chelsea. But, Saints have only recorded one win against Spurs since earning promotion back to the Premier League in 2012—a 2-1 away win at White Hart Lane last season.

Claude Puel is likely to welcome Oriol Romeu back into his Saints side today. Though, he will be missing Jordy Clasie alongside long-term absentees Charlie Austin and Matt Targett.

Former Southampton loanee Toby Alderweireld is back for Tottenham after missing their impressive win over Burnley with a back injury, while Mousa Dembele is also expected to return.

In addition, Danny Rose and Vincent Janssen are also expected to be fit after recovering from varying niggles.
