It's a valentines edition of the prediction league and in the spirit of the weekend I have something to admit. I have feelings for Swansea. I own a Swansea shirt. A mug with Michu's face on it. They play football the right way and even Brenden Rodgers seemed a decent bloke when in charge of them.
There was a time when Southampton and Swansea were seen as the ideal template clubs. Football teams up and down the English football pyramid looked to follow the same path to premier league stability.
But this year both teams have suffered long periods of poor form and Leicester or spurs are now the beacon for other teams follow. (That spurs are card carrying members of the Southampton way seems to get a bit forgotten)
Whilst many Saints fans were calling for Koeman's head during our poor form, the Swansea hierarchy wasted no time in getting rid of Gary Monk. The new man, Francesco Guidolin, has worked wonders, the swans are unbeaten in four and crawling away from the danger zone.
Meanwhile Big Ron has figured out the solution to the Saints poor form, making dissenting fans appear a tad foolish.
The news of Wanyama's ludicrous five game ban for a yellow card worthy tackle is somewhat softened by the return of Steven Davis and Matt Targett.
Although the recent form has been second only to Leicester, Saints are still not looking too convincing going forward. Davis is the link between midfield and attack and without him things have got a bit route one, hit and hope, give it to Mane and watch him run around in circles.
To the predictions:
Hazar! I got a correct result! Still languishing behind Lawrenson though, a fact that continues to bring great shame upon my family name.

Merse: 0-1
"I don't see Swansea scoring if I'm being honest, they've been so uncertain at the back I just see Saints winning."
Lawro: 0-2
"Something has to give, but Saints keeper Fraser Forster has not conceded a goal in five games since returning from injury and I am going to back him to continue that run."
Tommy: 2-2
"This feels like one of those games that Saints should win, but a tough one where Swansea equalizes late to earn a point. Charlie Austin and Shane Long both score."
George: 0-1
" 1-0 Saints. Swansea aren't exactly prolific, but will put us under the cosh to begin with. Charlie Austin to nick the winner in the second half."
Dan: 1-3
"3-1 to us. We're on a roll, Romeu to bang one in"
Jake: 0-1
"Swansea are starting to look better but I think we'll be able to keep them at bay and nick a winner"
Connor: 1-1
"Saints to draw 1-1"
Will: 1-1
"It's all going a bit too well at the moment, think we'll be unlucky, Gylffi prospers in the hole left by Wanyama's absense"
A NEW CHALLENGER ENTERS!
Paul: 0-1
"I'm optimistically going for 1-0. I think Swansea are still a bit lost, and we won't hammer them but we will get by. I say this based on nothing and with no confidence in my own choice."
Some good fighting talk there from Paul! Good luck.
