With the benefit of hindsight, Southampton's away win at Chelsea may not look all that impressive after 2014-15 Premier League champions' poor run of form subsequent.

But, the loss to Southampton showed the first signs of Jose Mourinho's Chelsea tenure unraveling. The Sky Sports rant. Taking Nemanja Matic off the pitch having not long been on as a substitute. There were plenty of early signs things weren't so rosy at Stamford Bridge.

Sadio Mane, Graziano Pelle and Steve Davis were the goalscorers in an emphatic victory for Ronald Koeman's men.

However, the previous season saw Southampton draw twice against Chelsea in their title-winning season, so Ronald Koeman will be hoping to stay unbeaten against the Blues since joining Southampton as manager.

Saints are still missing Kenyan brute Victor Wanyama in midfield as he serves his five-game suspension following his latest sending off against West Ham United - his third of the season.

Long-term absentees Jay Rodriguez and Florin Gardos are back in training but will not feature due to a lack of match fitness.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will be missing captain John Terry and Radamel Falcao. While new loan signing Alexandre Pato is still not match fit and will not feature.

Stats Zone:

As mentioned above, Southampton are unbeaten in thei/r last three games against Chelsea - winning one and drawing two.

Saints have won five of their last six games - the anomaly being a stirring away draw at Arsenal.

Southampton's fortress in Fraser Forster has not conceded a goal in six games since returning from injury. Can he keep that record up today and match Saints' record of keeping seven consecutive clean sheets?

In fact, it's been nine hours and 14 minutes since Southampton conceded a goal.

Chelsea are returning to form and are unbeaten in their last ten league matches.

In both spells as Chelsea boss, Guus Hiddink has only lost one of his 22 Premier League fixtures.
