Four players appeared for their countries yesterday: Graziano Pelle (Italy), Steven Davis (Northern Ireland), Lloyd Isgrove (Wales), and Maya Yoshida (Japan).

Of the four, it was Maya Yoshida who scored for his Japan side which beat Afghanistan 5-0. Graziano Pelle's Italy side drew 1-1 with Spain, while Wales and Northern Ireland played to a draw as well.

Cuco Martina and Victor Wanyama have both been in action as well, both seeing their sides lose.

Today, five Saints will get their international break going. Teammates Jose Fonte and Cedric should feature for Portugal as they take on Bulgaria. Jordy Clasie and Virgil van Dijk's Netherlands side will play against France in Amsterdam ArenA, and to round it off, Shane Long's Republic of Ireland side will play Switzerland.

For those going to Euros, these friendlies will begin to gain intensity as they prepare for stiff competition in France this Summer.
