Following Aston Villa's relegation being made official when they lost 1-0 to Manchester United, much has happened at the Birmingham club.
Gabby Agbonlahor was spotted partying the night his club were relegated and has been suspended by Aston Villa while they investigate his conduct. Meanwhile, Norwegian defender Jores Okore will not play for the Villains for the rest of the season after he reportedly refused to play for the club after relegation was confirmed.
Aston Villa caretaker boss Eric Black, who took temporary charge of the club following Remi Garde's hasty exit, will also be missing Kieran Richardson and Ciaran Clark through injury.
The Southampton picture looked markedly rosier.
Ronald Koeman will only be missing Charlie Austin and Florin Gardos through injury, while Saints pair Jose Fonte and Victor Wanyama are expected to feature despite having to go to hospital for respective head and rib injuries following Southampton's 1-1 draw away at Everton.
