Southampton are in talks with Lille over signing Sofiane Boufal for around £17m according to the Guardian. The move would allow Saints to add another forward, something they are currently in need of.

Tracked by plenty of the Premier League's big boys, this move would be coup despite the price for Southampton. Boufal is still recovering from a knee injury but should provide plenty of scoring punch to the Southampton lineup upon his arrival.

Former Saints manager Ronald Koeman has reignited his interest in left back Cuco Martina and could make a move for the left back before the deadline day according to a report from Sky Sports.

Besides his tremendous goal against Arsenal last season, Martina has been a dud at Southampton. With Claude Puel not looking to make Martina a starting member of the team, selling him will likely be the best choice for everyone.

While this is not a rumor, Southampton are offering a Europa League ticket deal to it's season ticket holders that will save them around 20% over buying the tickets separately.

The move is a nice one for ticket holders as it allows them to save some money while still supporting their team. Good move Saints, good move.

Southampton will be getting some competition from both Hull City and Crystal Palace for the signature of Spurs forward Ryan Mason according to a report from the Daily Mirror.

Again, the position Saints need most is forward. While Mason has not had a major impact at Tottenham, he could move into a solid role with Southampton if we can win the expected bidding war.

Another Saints and forward rumor that's beginning to gain some traction is Southampton's current battle with West Ham to sign Juventus forward Simone Zaza.

The Italian international is young enough to continue improving but will likely come at a high price. Unless Puel is certain Zaza is the striker of the future, Southampton may be wise to pass on trying to garner his signature.
