Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini has transferred to Southampton on a four-and-a-half year deal for a reported £14m plus add-ons.
The 25-year-old scored 58 in 216 appearances for a quartet of Italian clubs, including Napoli where he has spent the last two years.
Speaking to Southampton FC’s Official Website, Gabbiadini said, “I am very, very happy. Since I was a kid, one of my dreams was to perform in one of the biggest leagues in the world, so now that it's happening I can't wait to start playing.”
Gabbiadini has been an unused substitute in his last three games for Napoli, last featuring on 7 January where he scored in a 2-1 win.
