Liverpool may have had to fled the Virgil van Dijk bidding war with their tails between their legs last week—having to issue a formal, public apology to Southampton for "tapping up" the Dutch defender—but the Reds are now being linked to another Saints player: Serbian winger Dusan Tadic.
According to the Times, Liverpool boss is keen on Tadic despite him having a lacklustre season by his standards—posting his lowest tally of goals and assists in a Saints shirt.
The report believes there to be a minimum release clause fee in the region of £13m in Tadic's contract, as well as stating how the Serbian international grew disillusioned under Claude Puel's management in the 2016/17 campaign.
If true, this shouldn't come as a surprise after Tadic said how he felt "disrespected" by Puel for being routinely substituted while interviewed on international duty away from the club.
