Southampton and Brentford will donate any profit from their upcoming pre-season friendly, scheduled for 22 July, to the Grenfell Tower Fund according to the official site.

The fire, which broke out in the early hours of Wednesday morning, engulfed the tower block of flats in West London, situated nine miles away from Brentford's Griffin Park.

As of writing, police say at least 30 people have died as a result of the fire with that figure expected to rise according to the BBC. Those lucky to have survived have been left homeless.

The friendly will also see both Saints and Brentford combine to perform additional fundraising activities on the day. In the meantime, St. Mary's Musings readers wishing to donate to the Grenfell Tower Fund can do so by clicking here.
