New Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl got his first win at the club against Arsenal on Sunday.
With Saints playing well, taking it to the in-form Gunners, Southampton fans couldn’t be happier with the quick impact made by the Austrian manager.
However, it appears Saints players are also enjoying the remarkable difference made under Hasunhuttl’s management.

Bertrand wrote on Instagram:
“Clear tactical instruction allowing us to get close to teams and press high, aggressive and as a unit. And we got our rewards.
“FINALLY”
Hughes was sacked from his position as Southampton manager earlier in December, with Hasenhuttl taking over as the club are firmly locked in a Premier League relegation scrap.
Under Hughes, Saints won just three of 22 league matches and looked a shadow of the team which performed so well against Unai Emery’s Arsenal on Sunday.
Now, following Saints’ victory over Arsenal, Hasenhuttl’s side are just barely out of the relegation zone in 17th on goal difference alone.
There is plenty of work to do from Hasenhuttl and his team, but it appears the Saints squad are happy with how things are going so far under the “Alpine Klopp,” as are Southampton fans.
