Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl says there are no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saints’ visit to Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
In fact, a number of players have rejoined the squad for training this week - including Mario Lemina, Cedric and Jack Stephens according to the OS.
As a result, Hasenhuttl is hopeful those back in training could be in good enough shape to play a part in the Huddersfield game on Saturday.
“Five guys rejoined us this week so I have worked with 23 players; it was a little bit too much actually to play 11 vs 11.
“I can see now that everyone wants to jump on the train because it is leaving the station. It can be a coincidence that everyone is fit now again. Maybe they are feeling that we are building up something interesting and they all want to be a part of it.
“We are sure it will be an enormously hard game that we are facing. I think if we have the same passion, character and mentality – and we will need it – then we have a good chance to beat Huddersfield.”
