Southampton manager Mark Hughes believes Mohamed Elyounoussi is his only Saints player likely to miss out on Saturday’s trip to Everton in match two of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign.

The Norwegian international is reportedly suffering with a hamstring issue. However, Stuart Armstrong, another new signings, is apparently fit to feature despite hobbling off injured against Burnley last Sunday.

”At the moment, apart from maybe Moi at the weekend, we’ve got everyone fit and available,” Hughes said [H/T Southampton OS]. “Stuart Armstrong is okay after his knock.

”We have a 25-man squad and it’s there to last the whole season. We’ll lose players to injuries and suspensions at times but for the most part now everyone is ready to go.

”That’s a good thing on many levels but obviously you end up disappointing players who haven’t done anything wrong but would hope to be involved. It’s a nice problem to have.”
