Leicester City confirmed they will not appeal Jamie Vardy’s red card picked up against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
England forward Vardy was sent off for a reckless tackle on Wolves defender Matt Doherty as the Foxes ran out 2-0 winners against their newly-promoted Midlands neighbours.
As a result of his red card, Vardy will serve a three match ban.

This means he will miss games against Southampton on Saturday, as well as Leicester’s midweek EFL Cup clash with former club Fleetwood Town and a trip to Liverpool the weekend after.
