Southampton are among the clubs interested in signing Woking defender Oliver Creed according to TEAMtalk.
The teenager has reportedly interested some big southern clubs, including West Ham United, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Brentford and Millwall in addition to Saints.
Creed is only 16 but has - apparently - already established himself as part of the Woking first team setup and is due to sign a professional contract soon.
Woking are currently flying high in the Vanarama National League, having gained promotion from the National League South the season before.
Saints are in dire need of some new defenders. While a 16-year-old may not be the immediate solution Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side needs, this could be an interesting signing for January if these rumours are anywhere close to being true.
Silly season has started and it’s not even Halloween yet.
