Southampton striker Sam Gallagher has reportedly been put up for sale and Leeds United are interested in making him a summer signing.
According to Football Insider, Gallagher would be allowed to leave Saints after failing to make an impression last season.
The 23-year-old striker only featured six times in the 2018-19 season for Southampton.
Gallagher, who has two years left on his contract at Southampton, has made an impact in the Championship in recent seasons while out on loan.
He netted 11 goals in 43 games for Blackburn Rovers in their relegation-doomed season in 2016/17 and was Birmingham City’s top league goalscorer with six the next year.
Leeds recently missed out on promotion to the Premier League, losing out to Derby County in the playoff semi-finals.
Manager Marcelo Bielsa is said to want to make some drastic changes at Elland Road ahead of next season.
