Ralph Hasenhuttl’s assistant Danny Rohl left Southampton to become a performance analyst at German giants Bayern Munich.
After weeks of speculation due to his absence from Saints’ pre-season, it was reported last week Rohl had left for a ‘Bundesliga club.’
Announcing the departure of one of Hasenhuttl’s closest aides, Southampton said:
“Southampton Football Club can today [Tuesday] confirm that Danny Röhl has left his role as First Team Assistant Manager and has returned to Germany to take up a role with a Bundesliga club ahead of the upcoming season.
”Everyone at Southampton thanks Danny for his work with the club and we wish him well for the future.”
Bayern Munich announced Rohl’s arrival on social media.
