Watford vs Southampton team news

Southampton take on Watford this afternoon at Vicarage Road as they hunt after their second Premier League win of the season.

But new Hornets manager Claudio Ranieri and his side will be buoyed after their spectacular 5-2 away win at Everton last weekend.

In terms of team news, Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse will make his return to the first team after serving the three-match ban he got following his red card against Chelsea.

However, there is some bad news for Saints fans. On-loan striker Armando Broja has been ruled out of action with an ankle injury, joining Jack Stephens on the sidelines.

Watford forward Emmanuel Dennis miss out on Saturday afternoon, serving a one-game suspension after picking up five yellow cards already this season.

Danny Rose could play after recovering from a calf injury, but Kiko Femenia is expected to sit this one out with a hip problem.
