Sheffield United vs Southampton team news

Southampton are hunting for their first Premier League victory since 4 January - which happened to be over last season’s champions Liverpool - and will be desperate to come out on top over Sheffield United today.

Saints haven’t had much good team news this season, but will be buoyed by the fact that Kyle Walker-Peters, Ibrahima Diallo and Takumi Minamino returned to first team training this week.

However, it’s unclear whether they will feature against Sheffield United today and will be assessed ahead of the game.

Chris Wilder’s Blades have injury problems of their own - specifically in defence.

Defensive quartet Chris Basham, John Egan, Jayden Bogle and Jack O’Connell are all out injured, while Phil Jagielka is suspended.

The Blades also have big-money midfield signing Sander Berge missing, as well as Jack Robinson.
