Southampton are set to start the 2021/22 Premier League season with an away game against Everton.

The game, due to be played on Saturday 14 August, was revealed along with the rest of the Premier League fixtures earlier today.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men will face Manchester Untied in their first home game of the season a week later. The last time Saints lined up against United, they came away with a 9-0 beating at Old Trafford.

Saints round off August with an away trip to Newcastle United.

Other interesting fixtures include Premier League newcomers Brentford. Southampton will take on the West London side on Saturday 18 December - the start of the hectic Christmas schedule.

Saints then take on West Ham United away on Boxing Day before hosting Tottenham Hotspur on 28 December.

Southampton’s final game of the season sees them take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on 22 May.
