Southampton’s Jannik Vestergaard is the latest player being linked with a move away from the South Coast this summer.
Like Danny Ings, Vestergaard has entered the last year of his contract with Southampton and after a largely positive season with the Saints last year, he is courting interest.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur have held transfer talks for Vestergaard’s services while he represents Denmark in EURO 2020.

New Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santo is said to be on the hunt for signings to bolster his defence as a priority in the summer transfer window.
A report from The Times says Vestergaard could be available for Spurs for a fee of around £18m.
Vestergaard had his best spell in a Southampton shirt in the 2020-21 season.
The towering 28-year-old centre half made 30 appearances in the Premier League and impressed with his ability to carry the ball and create chances from his position on the pitch.
On the defensive side, Vestergaard averaged 1.7 tackles, 1.4 interceptions and four clearances per game. He also won an average of 3.3 aerial duels per match.
