Stuart Armstrong will remain on the sidelines as he recovers from the calf injury that has seen him not play a minute of football for Saints so far this season.
Theo Walcott is also set to miss out after picking up a “small issue”, according to manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.
Will Smallbone, who has been sidelined with a knee injury for the last nine months, is close to returning to training with the first team, but remains a long way off from appearing in a match.
The only other noted absence is Shane Long. The Republic of Ireland international is self-isolating in a hotel after a testing positive for COVID-19 while on duty for his country.
