With former Saint Michail Antonio firing on all cylinders, West Ham United have continued where they left off last season and are flying high in the Premier League.

Hammers boss David Moyes is happy with how things are going and rightly so.

The Scot also pleased to see that the condition of his West Ham United squad is good ahead of their visit to Southampton on Saturday.

Despite 10 senior players leaving for international duty over the last week or so, Moyes says he is happy with the full, fit squad at his disposal - including the three new signings made late in the summer transfer window: Kurt Zouma, Alex Kral and Nikola Vlasic.

“I think most things are all good,” Moyes said of his squad’s fitness. “I think it’s the first time since pre-season we’ve probably felt we’ve got everybody back.

“Obviously we’ve got new players in as well, so it just feels like the end of [a] pre-season really. We’re trying to get everything in a good place.

“It feels a bit like a fresh start, actually. We’ve got the boys back from international games because they’ve been away for a couple of weeks. I think we’re all in good shape here.”

All three signings in Zouma, Kral and Vlasic could feature against Saints on Saturday in some capacity.
