Southampton vs Arsenal team news
After a home 6-0 thumping at the hands of Chelsea last weekend, Southampton welcome another former Premier League championship-winning side in Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.
Like Chelsea before their visit to St Mary’s, Arsenal are struggling for form and will be looking to take advantage of some shoddy Saints defending to get their campaign back on track.
In terms of team news, Southampton have no new injury worries with Lyanco, Shane Long and
Striker Armando Broja is available. He couldn’t play last weekend as the ineligible to appear against his parent club Chelsea while he’s on loan at Saints.
For Arsenal, Alexandre Lacazette is expected to feature despite missing training on Friday.
However, there is bad news for Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney, who are unlikely to play again this season due to injury, while Takehiro Tomiyasu is yet to have recovered from his calf problem.
